“When you can have a song at weddings and funerals, you're good. I do want to create timeless songs that live on.” - Diane Warren
''I was watching a 1997 Barbara Walters interview with James Brolin and Barbra Streisand. It was an interview Brolin gave about how he misses her when he sleeps, you know? Like, he can’t wait to see her. And I wrote down the title. I didn’t write the song, but I just thought, ‘I don’t want to miss a thing.’ That’s just a cool title, you know.” - Diane Warren
"I remember being at the Sunset Marquis Hotel, and sitting at the piano with Steven Tyler and teaching him the song and just having chills all over my body as I heard the song come to life with his voice and knowing what it was going to be. It was an amazing experience.'' - Diane Warren

Steven Tyler puts so much feeling and passion into this song and Mark Chesnutt was so blah and bland.

This song was the song we played at our wedding as a couple it was our favourite when seeing each other I was in one part of the country and he was in another, so we never saw each other every day. Love Aerosmith and Steve Tyler what a voice and he can move

I sang this song to both of my children when I was pregnant. They love this song and know it word for word. We now sing it to each other.
